Ingredients

  • 1 cup saunf

  • ½ cup crushed dhaniya seeds

  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds

  • ¼ cup flax seeds

  • 2 tbsp ajwain

  • 2 tbsp powdered jaggery

  • ½ tsp elaichi powder

  • ½ tsp cinnamon powder

  • pinch of salt (optional)

Method

  • Dry roast sesame and flax seeds first, till they ‘pop’.

  • Remove these and roast saunf, ajwain, and dhaiya seeds properly.

  • Remove the mixture from the heat. Let it cool completely (very imp.).

  • Add the dry powders (only when seeds are properly cooled down) and mix properly.

  • Store in an air tight container for everyday use.
